EDITS: 3.14 All POBs and numbers in this guide still refer to patch 3.13. So far, the manifest for 3.14 alludes to the following changes that are important to us: Will be a DPS reduction but shouldn't damage the build. At the moment I'm cautiously optimistic that we've survived the nerfs with minor bruises at worst! _______________________________________________________________________________________ OBJECTIVE Bridge from Enki's Arc Witch starter to a 50M+ DPS Sirus DPS build assassinating bosses. I have Enki's Arc Witch (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1147951) as a league starter inRitual (3.13). Loved it and was able to drive through red cards with ease. I started having problems with the super endgame bosses (Cortex, Maven, Uber Atziri, The Feared). It might be doable, but the fairly low damage cap makes it difficult. This build is my attempt to see how far I could push Arc while keeping the character and much of the gear from Enki's Arc Witch. Enki's build was easily able to farm enough currency for this transition and this build allowed me to get all game content done very easily. _______________________________________________________________________________________ OVERVIEW POB / Character POB:https://pastebin.com/akjLbkKg For and against +Massively more damage with over 50M boss DPS -More expensive. It took me about 15 ex to get to 25M DPS. Current gear is ~80 ex and I have 55M Sirus DPS. Quite a lot of room for further improvement. The numbers may have shifted since then. -Less smooth gameplay. Greater Spell Echo fixes you for a moment while it's being cast, which can take some getting used to. It doesn't matter if everything dies instantly. playing style ‣ Bind Arcane Cloak to left click to cast on cooldown _______________________________________________________________________________________ EXPLANATION What changes? ‣Critfrom dropping Elemental Overload for a massive DPS boost what stays the same ‣ Golems (5) and these Ascendancy Nodes _______________________________________________________________________________________ GANG Generally ‣ Uniques: Cloak of Defiance, Crown of the Inward Eye, Atziri's Foible, and Essence Worm are all good at keeping away from Enki's build Jewellery ‣ Anima stone for your last golem bottles ‣ Bottled Faith, Cinderswallow and a Diamond Flask really show off your critical hit _______________________________________________________________________________________ OPTIONALITY Baum My POB has a Non-Controversial Minimum tree that has 111 pretty clear points. There are a number of options for the last 10-12 points and I have some in the POB as separate trees. ‣ Personally, I took 2 jewels of medium critical value ‣ If I were to push to 100 I would drop these for a bunch of life/mana restoration and maybe even a flask regeneration cluster. (Suggested by u/PaleoclassicalPants on reddit) ‣ If I got to 100 I would seriously consider getting a 2nd big cluster left of the tree for some good personalities and 2 extra gem slots to stack critical multis Others ‣ Replacing Wrath with Zeal is a marginal DPS reduction and the Observer's Eye for it is much cheaper. Probably just a good idea until you get really deep into min-maxing. (Suggested by u/zixav on reddit) ‣ I took Clarity out, but it offers massive mana regen at the cost of not being able to use Clarity (easily swapped out for a multi-crit rare gem), a gem slot, and some reserved mana (which reduces DPS). If you run out of mana before everything dies, that's a strong move. (Suggested by u/PaleoclassicalPants on reddit) ‣ A major downside here is a larger Spell Echo, which basically stuns you. We have damage to spare, so consider a mob weapon swap, and we can always switch back to boss hand pledge. (Suggested by u/anne_dobalina on reddit) ‣ Persuasion Wave is a bit awkward to use. Storm counters can apply our conductivity and weakness more easily, but you give up exposure. Hydrosphere is also an option (asketicPOE's suggestion) and it has exposure, but less than WoC. As for damage, WoC > Hydrosphere > Stormburn. Decide on a skill based on your trade-off between usability and damage. ‣ This general structure would work for a variety of lightning skills. With minimal adjustments, you could use ball lightning, crackling lances, or a handful of other abilities in place of bows. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Welcome questions, criticism, feedback, thoughts. One suggestion to keep costs down at launch is that while the ideal 4 jewels for critical stats are 4x+ each, you can get 3 jewels for next to nothing. I'm not sure if these are the best setup searches, but I use them: Good enough jewels Better jewels |

" This is very close to what I'm looking for. I personally had a lot of crit chances from bottles/gear so my focus was 3 x crit multi mods. Even if the 4th mod was a complete banana, that's a lot of damage. And I can always craft non-crit to crit to maybe hit the right crit chance in that 4th slot for a ridiculous gem. |

" I will have to copy this idea. What do you think is a good critical chance to be at least, assuming the bottles are running? I can't remember what mine is, but I do find that sometimes I burn down bosses and other times there's a period of lackluster damage - which I think means the crits aren't hitting at that point. |

I took a look at my POB to confirm and it looks like I literally have 0 critical hit chance right on my items. ‣ Bottled Faith / Cinder Swallow / Diamond Flask Just those things will get you above 85% critical hit chance, which should be plenty. It's possible to get 95% if you take the two medium critical jewel route, but that might not be optimal. |

Can this build run 100% Deli T19 cards, any videos to showcase this build? |

Unlike 100% Deli, this is a bossing build with B+ survivability, A- Clear, and A+ bossing. I killed conquerors before they finished their first attack animation. I'm speculating a little here because I haven't even tried 100% Deli as it would melt my computer. I suspect the build will have issues. Lots of DPS / sure, but with so much damage coming at you and a bigger spell echo making movement choppy I think you would die a lot. I have never recorded gameplay. I would find out, but I'm done with the league. Next time I write something I'll make sure to make a video. Last edited by choco11 on 03/01/2021, 16:01:31 |

Hey man great guide! What would say is the optimal way to start transitioning to this build? Getting a 6 liter pledge of hands and respec'ing? |

" That's what I would do, grab the 6L and be ready to go before you change your tree. You need to make sure you deal with all the resistances on your wands, map it in POB to see what all you need to change. Be warned, the damage doesn't really start until you set up the jewels and curses. You can map without them, but the really insane damage only comes when you've awakened Hextouch at level 5 and can curse enemies with both Conductivity and Elemental Weakness. Again, neither are really required for maps, but these allow you to knock down bosses. The build is pretty muddy too, but the damage makes up for it - I was able to do Maven last night and only used a portal or two, phasing goes fast with all the damage so you don't have to dodge much. Unleash three Storm Brands during boss setup and start casting Wave of Conviction as soon as you see the applied curses unleash. Sometimes you will die, but more often than not the burst is enough to phase or kill. The damage is absurd, but you need to invest a reasonable amount to make it work. |

" Yep - step 0 for the transition is to get crit working, so: This should be a substantial DPS increase and critical hits should be largely online. You can wait for the rest, including Bottle Faith, 3rd Curse (Awakened Hex Touch), and Better Gems (Awakened Spell Echo, Anomalous Golems, etc.). |
