The feats are phenomenal, you have insane mobility, tons like avoidance immunity for crowd control, you have a huge forward burst of breath of fire and tip the scales, you can move allies, move enemies while navigating the map, you have good consistent healing through your echoes and through your healing effects that you can apply to your targets you have nice emergency heels with green embrace that becomes your main heel you recover you have many cooldowns like emerald communion is like Tranquility bubble for druids for evoker here you have things like time dilation which is basically a one minute cooldown ice block that you can put on your teammates it's rare we've seen someone die from time dilation and then you have a raid broad cooldown called rewind, which is similar to Revival which just rewinds all damage done.
A Tier - Mistweaver Monk, Resto Druid
Mistweaver Monk
Seems like it's designed more for PVE and hitting mobs and just aoeing with feline Stomp and spinning crane kick and it's not going to be so good in small group fights and you're just going to expose your positioning now you kinda got spear hand knock back, we've found it's fun and satisfying to roll up and interrupt the mage, that's to embarrass or scare you or something, feels really good and satisfying, and the output is remarkably high, so we think that it is this is arguably the strongest healer overall in terms of output but as we don't think it brings that fistweaving element or offensive abilities the same thing that was missing from continuing shadow lands while both of these do remarkable amounts of healing you have basically the same amount of mobility.
Resto druid
This is a really versatile healer it will be flexible and go with just about anything brings really important stuff to the solo Shuffle environment like Tranquility but Divine shield to protect yourself iron bark to help allies if you split your Hots with Life Plan as powerful as it is you will be good at multi target healing and single target healing you work well with warlocks you work well with melee DPS you can play with anything in the game so you are really versatile and flexible, offensive you deal some damage you contribute things like direct moonfire which gets buffed by your Druid Talent points as you heal targets so you get these big 40K moonfires occasionally which is super satisfying to do haven't seen a lot of people run the balance affinity and the few we do it doesn't really look great it's just a lot of global cooldowns to use it and you lose that a lot of times or don't Defense on the left side of the druid tree going down, so we haven't really seen many druids who could make it work in that regard, but for its flexibility, its versatility, and its damage output.
B Tier - Discipline Priest, Holy Priest, Holy Paladin
Discipline Priester
Let's just start with the healers here we have Discipline Priest the first important thing to take into consideration with ranked solo queue is that games are very fast paced you probably won't lose as a healer in ranked solo queue because of your Mana, you probably want to forego talents related to Mana regeneration for more damage or more recovery because it's intense with the dampening ramping up as fast as it is and the damage output in addition to getting some juice in the tank will have as it is now so while Mana has been stereotypically a problem for discipline priests we don't think it's going to be that big of a deal the main discipline sticking point that's holding it back for us right now is the mobility, the is the least mobile healer even over the holy priest it's the least mobile healer you have some new talents that allow Fade to remove snares that will be very important for you to escape but you will probably notice if you played in shadow lands with no door shadows, no soul form to move around the map so you have to be an expert with your positioning and the thing is you don't really fare well with the DPS specs that are currently excelling at the moment: warlocks, demon hunters , death knights these aren't typically what you want to see on the opposing team so healers that have defensive cooldown sounds that require your DPS to be stationary when you're in the ranked solo queue, the DPS that are playing and the ranked solo being queue like the kids in the ballroom at the mall like they're all over the place they're doing some weird things in the corner, and they don't stay in your barrier that's just the main thing you need to be aware of that they don't stay in your barrier.
Holy Priest
The main perks you have as a Holy Priest as opposed to a Disciplined Priest is access to honorary talents such as being able to soar into the sky with Divine Ascension, being able to escape melee attackers, so if you get a lobby with similar Death Knights, and Warriors and demon hunters and lions and tigers and bears you have tools to escape them that discipline doesn't have right now you don't really do that much overall damage but you can do some nice burst damage with Holy Fire which we have noticed the overall damage will be lower but it's more frontloaded the way you deal damage it's probably close you have better emergency healing your Guardian Spirit cooldowns are more guaranteed like you don't you don't have to worry make them run out of Guardian Spirit they will just get that and when they die it will briefly revive them and then give you a second chance to bounce them back into the fight , you dude you generally struggle , and you don't really have much synergy with the best classes, probably the same reason why Paladin is lower on this list.
C-low - Sacred Paladin, Resto Shaman
Holy Paladin
It hasn't gone off the page for us you still have some mana issues like you did in shadow lands though it won't be back in Solo Shuffle probably won't be a problem but we haven't seen Paladin pop up we think it's probably still going to be a bit of a struggle now some of the strengths that you bring is you have like powerful complete stops on damage output it's probably going to be good because you still have high output with avenging wrath , we haven't seen anything surprising new with this, they kind of troll you paladins with so much emphasis on devotion, especially on red.
rest shaman
Shaman is also a kind of battle bus, although you can actually get a double earth wall totem, so you can put another wall totem and play Titanic recall, and reset, and get two earth wall totems for double the value, you can run this really heavy Riptide- build that boosts boosts and boosts your healing but you feel really dependent on healing tide for your recovery and really dependent on rise and you're going to be next to your teammates for that AOE splash healing so you get a compromise your positioning very dangerous you are very squishy people will just attack you often what we noticed is that as the meta has evolved it will run you down train the blue you deal a lot of burst damage honestly with Storm Keeper you can throw out some really big lightning bolts and lava eruptions. You're probably going to want to focus on being an offensive healer than a defensive healer so it's like using all of your cooldowns to keep your teammates alive and keep them aggressive and taking down your opponents which we think should be the archetype being for shaman healers with things like Purge and running through it and disrupting and being aggressive, we like that.
